Rail Link Between Alaska, Canada & USA
I want to share with you On the Right Track, an online newsletter from the Alaska-Canada Rail Link (http://www.alaskacanadarail.org/), which is the bi-lateral group I created with Premier Fentie to study the feasibility of connecting Alaska to the continental rail system.
The first issue can be found at the project website.
I am happy to report that the project is indeed, “right on track.”
The marketing and engineering portion is progressing, and the financial feasibility and public interest assessment will begin this spring.
The study is still scheduled for delivery this summer, at which point we will decide whether to progress with the next phase of the project.
